WACO -
A local man has been arrested and charged with assault with bodily injury family violence in connection to an incident that occurred Sunday night. Police say 26-year-old Davann Lamont Bryant attacked a 26-year-old woman in a home around 11:15 p.m.
Police were called to the 2700 block of Fort Ave on a report of a domestic disturbance. The female victim told officers she had been in an argument with Bryant when he is accused of grabbing her by the throat and punching her in the face.
Bryant was arrested at the scene.
