Police search for Pizza Hut robbery suspect

Police are searching for a suspect responsible for robbing a Temple restaurant late Wednesday night. The incident occurred at 11:40 p.m. at the Pizza Hut on the 600 block of N. General Bruce Dr.

When officers arrived, they learned a man had entered the restaurant while employees were preparing to close the business and displayed a handgun. The suspect then demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene on foot. 

Officers searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6-feet tall and last seen wearing a dark colored heavy style coat with a hood. He was also wearing dark jeans and shoes with a bandana covering his face.
