State representative gives his thoughts on president's second term

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Local politicians here in Texas gave their thoughts on the president taking another term in office. State representative Charles Anderson says he would like to see more spending being cut throughout the country.

Republican politicians in the state say they are ready to work with President Obama on the top issues the U.S. faces

"We respect him for his office and will work for him where we can and oppose him where we need to and that's our system," Anderson said. "Nobody checks our philosophical mooring, you know, because of the winds of the election."

Texas has already cut fifteen billion from its spending.
