MCLENNAN COUNTY -
A woman is in McLennan County Jail after attacking her boyfriend with an ax. The incident occurred at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at a home on the 100 block of Flying Heart Rd.
McLennan County Sheriff's Office say that an argument between Crystal Butler and her boyfriend began to escalate. The boyfriend attempted to leave the scene, but the tires on his vehicle were flattened.
He locked himself in his car, and Butler proceeded to hit the vehicle with an ax. She was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
