WACO -
An employee of a Waco women's apparel shop has been arrested in connection with thefts from bank deposits. 30-year-old Jennifer Chenelle Wilson has been arrested and charged with theft of over $1,500.
Waco police began their investigation after receiving a call from the Body Central's loss prevention staff. The store had noticed a $5,000 discrepancy between the bank deposit amounts and amounts actually in the bank.
At the time of the investigation, Wilson had moved on from her position at Body Central and was living in Hillsboro. Police obtained an arrest warrant, found Wilson and had her come to Waco for an interview, at which time she was taken into custody.
Wilson remains in the McLennan County Jail.
