Employee accused of stealing money and merchandise at local Target

A Target employee is arrested after detectives suspected her of stealing merchandise and cash. Rosario Milagros Maldonado was investigated by Waco detectives after they were contacted by store loss prevention officers regarding the suspect theft. 

Detectives began their investigation looking at sales records, surveillance video and other information gathered by the store.

Maldonado is accused of taking cash from the cash register with the help of family or acquaintances. She is accused of giving excess change, having merchandise go out thorough voiding scans at the register and not scanning items at all. 

She is accused of stealing over $3,000 worth of merchandise and cash from November through December of 2012. Maldonado was taken to the McLennan County Jail after her arrest.
