A federal fugitive wanted for a federal probation violation has been captured in Waco. 29-year-old Clyde Maurice Williams III had a previous federal weapons charge from 2006 and a previous aggravated assault and deadly weapon charge from Hewitt police.
Task Force officers saw Williams leaving a residence in the 5700 block Of Hawthorne Dr. and later saw the car return to the home. When Task Force officers approached the driver and they encountered 29-year-old Tyrell McKamey in the drivers seat with a quantity of marijuana.
McKamey was taken into custody, along with 26-year-old Stacy Marie Dudley. Authorities seized two vehicles, $5,300 cash, over five pounds of marijuana, approximately an ounce of heroin, and two handguns.
McKamey and Dudley were both charged with possession of controlled substance/heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs. McKamey was also charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of a stolen firearm, and both were booked into McLennan County Jail.
Later that night Deputy US Marshals and Task Force Officers found Williams in the 2300 block of Summer and arrested him without incident.
