WACO - An accident with a remote control helicopter displaced 26 Baylor students from their dorm suites Monday evening.
A student was flying that plastic toy when it crashed into an overhead sprinkler on the third floor at Heritage Hall.
That turned on the water that flooded that suite, with water draining down to the second and first floors as well.
The sprinkler also tripped an alarm that brought the fire department to the scene.
In all, five suites had to be evacuated because of water, and a restoration company was called in to clean the rooms.
Baylor put the affected students in other accommodations. The school will get a better look at the damage tomorrow.
