Family of Soldier Killed in Triple Shooting Asks for Help
By: Chelsea Durcholz
The family of Austin Sampson, who died in a triple shooting in Killeen on January 2nd, is asking for help. His parents and brother are looking for Sampson's miniature pinscher, Delilah.
Austin asked his little brother, Bennett, to look after Delilah in case anything happened to him. His mom told News Channel 25 that since Austin was killed, Bennett has been taking his death hard, and it would help him if they had Delilah back.
His family says Austin recently left Delilah with a woman in the Killeen-area for breeding. They don't know the woman's name or where she lives, but they would really like to have Delilah back.
The family lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but would gladly drive back to Bell County to pick her up.
If you have any information on Delilah, you're asked to call (817) 874-6355.
