KILLEEN -
A Killeen man is in jail after attacking his brother with a knife on New Year's Eve. Michael Ray Tubbs has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault that caused bodily injury with a family member.
Tubbs had gotten into an argument with his mother and the argument began to escalate. Tubbs' brother came downstairs to intervene. At that point Tubbs is accused of pulling out a knife and slashed his brother.
Tubbs was arrested and booked into the Bell County Jail on Thursday. His brother sustained non-life-threatening injuries from the incident.
