ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Texas A&M players were discussing potential bowl games even before their first SEC season began.
They brought up the idea of playing a Big 12 team and they've got one.
The 10th-ranked Aggies (10-2) play 12th-ranked Oklahoma (10-2) on Friday night in the Cotton Bowl. Both teams have 5-game winning streaks, and both average more than 40 points and 500 total yards a game this season.
Texas A&M is wrapping up a season of firsts, which includes Kevin Sumlin's first year and quarterback Johnny Manziel becoming the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy.
The Sooners have won 11 of 13 games in the series since Bob Stoops became their coach.
