Local man charged with kidnapping and robbery

A local man is arrested after he kidnaps and forces another driver to help him in a string of various ATM robberies. Milton Donovan Forcey has been charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping for the events that occurred early Sunday morning.

The victim told police he was driving near the intersection of 18th and Bosque at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Another car pulled up next to him at a stoplight and the driver, Forcey, asked if he could follow the victim to his home because he was having car trouble and was afraid he might not make it.

When they got to the victim's home on Cole Ave, the Forcey got into the car with the victim, pulled a handgun and told the victim to drive. The victim took Forcey to at least three ATM locations where Forcey forced him to withdraw money. Forcey then had the victim approach other people seeking money.

The victim was eventually able to run away, and suffered a minor injury to his face from the incident. Police were able to locate Forcey's car in the 3200 block of Cole Avenue and identify him.

Forcey was taken to the McLennan County jail and is being held on $1 million bond.
