KILLEEN -
Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a Family Dollar store Monday morning. The robbery occurred at 8:15 a.m. on the 1600 block of S. Ft. Hood Street.
The suspect displayed a handgun to the cashier and demanded money. He then escaped with undetermined amount of cash, and fled on foot in an unknown direction of travel.
A police report describes the suspect as a black male who is five-foot-seven in height and is heavy set. He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
