The United States Coast Guard removed more than 85 pounds of cocaine from a ship off the Galveston coast.
The crew on board a 900-foot oil tanker called the Coast Guard after they found a suspicious package on board. The Coast Guard and several other federal agencies were taken to the tanker that was about 70 miles off the Galveston coast to examine the cocaine.
The search team found 31 packages of cocaine with an estimated value of more than $1.1 million.
