Waco Independent School District superintendent, Bonny Cain, sent a letter to parents addressing recent rumors of impending violence at some Waco ISD campuses.
The letter says this week rumors began to spread on social media about a possible incident that may occur Friday December 21. Cain stated the district is well aware of the statements being made on social media and are actively following up on leads.
Cain concluded by alluding to the events at Sandy Hook Elementary School last Friday, and reassuring parents that the district and its police department are working diligently to maintain safe and secure campuses.
