GHOLSON -
Three people are homeless after their mobile home was destroyed by a fire Thursday afternoon in Gholson. Fire officials say two women, a man, and a dog were at the home at the time of the fire but were able to escape.
Fire fighters believe that hot ashes from wooden stove got out of the vent of the home and landed in the backyard. Due to the dry conditions and wind, a grass fire started and made its way to the home.
The home was completely destroyed, and a horse in the backyard did get singed in the fire.
