Jan Acorn, owner of Gateway Destinations, serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Tucson Chapter and has been a member for over five years. She is very excited to announce the creation of the the Chairwoman’s Circle, an elevated membership level of NAWBO.

The re-design of the Chairwoman’s Circle membership structure was led by Jan Acorn and recently introduced to the Tucson chapter. Its mission is to provide a professional forum where established NAWBO members and executive managers can actively and confidentially exchange ideas and discuss business methods and concerns to advance their skills and promote their effectiveness as leaders in their respective businesses. Small and non-competitive discussion groups (maximum 10 women) allow for active interaction and networking opportunities and confidentiality.

“Since promoting personal growth for women through travel has been a large part of what we offer through Gateway Destinations, I felt strongly that my NAWBO organization needed to provide opportunities and experiences for its members to foster continued personal and professional growth” commented Jan Acorn, the Tucson Chapter’s Board Liaison for the Chairwoman’s Circle. “Similar to the experience women have on our women-only tours in Europe, members of the Chairwoman’s Circle form deep bonds with other like-minded women through dialogue and share experiences in a fun and safe environment” she added.
