BELLMEAD -
A Bellmead man has been sentenced after failing to register as a sex offender and for indecency with a child. Jack Edward Stone,49, was given seven life sentences on Monday, in which he will serve them concurrently.
Stone pled guilty on Thursday to four cases of indecency with a child by contact, two cases of failure to register as a sex offender, and one case of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
In June, Stone was found living near the 700-block of Petty in Bellmead. He was arrested for not registering as a sex offender with a previous conviction.
Police later connected him to the sexual assault of two young brothers at a south Waco home. Documents said tickling between Stone and the boys reportedly turned into inappropriate, sexual touching.
Just days before the incident, Bellmead police say Stone sexually assaulted a four year-old girl at a home in Bellmead.
According to DPS crime records, Stone served ten years in prison after being convicted for indecency of a child by contact on October 28, 1987. His victim back then was three-years-old at the time.
Stone will have to serve 30 years before he is eligible for parole.
