An Oglesby woman has been charged with robbery and resisting arrest after an incident at  Richland Mall on December 9.

Adriana Fossett was seen by Dillards employees going into a dressing room carrying a pair of jeans, but when she came out of the dressing room she didn't have them. Employees noticed that Fossett appeared to be wearing them under her other clothing.

When Fossett left the store, employees notified a female security officer of the theft. The officer then went outside and attempted to stop the suspect.

Fossett fought the officer, and was seen attempting to hand off her purse to another person. The off duty Waco police officer injured her knee and hand in the altercation.

The purse was later recovered and the suspect was restrained. Authorities found $633 worth of merchandise in the purse, and Fossett was sent to McLennan County Jail.
