DALLAS -
A local man wanted for sexual assault since November was arrested in Dallas, and is pending a return to Waco to face his charges. The U.S. Marshal's Task Force arrested Clayton Berkley at a homeless shelter in Dallas for an incident that happened early this year.
The 51-year-old Berkley assaulted a woman in her mid-20s at the Oak Lodge Motel in the 1000 block of Austin Avenue in May. The assault was reported to police, but investigators weren't able to get a warrant for Berkley until November.
Berkley is being held in the Dallas County Jail, and is pending a return to Waco to face the charges.
