A 37-year-old Waco man has been on arrested in connection with incidents that left a 15-year-old girl pregnant in 2011. Jason Maltino Davis was charged with sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.
Waco Police Department Spokesman Patrick Swanton says authorities were first notified of the offense in March when the mother of the child made an outcry about the incident. The girl had been visiting a north Waco home when she says she was first fondled by Davis in September 2011.
The victim was then sexually assaulted in October 2011, and later she discovered she was pregnant from the incident.
Following a police investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Davis in late November. Davis was arrested by the US Marshal's Service after he came to the Waco Police station.
