Local man convicted and sentenced to life in prison

MCLENNAN COUNTY -

A local man has been sentenced to life in prison with no chance for parole after he was convicted of sex abuse of a child. Daniel Coleman Reynolds was convicted Friday for the abuse of a six-year-old girl between six months to a year.

The offenses happened in both Bosqueville and Lacy Lakeview. The victim made an outcry to her mother, prompting the investigation and charges against Reynolds.

The 54th District Court jury took a about half an hour to sentence him to life in prison.
