Two injured after Ferrari crashes in home

Posted:
WACO -

Two people were injured Thursday night after the Ferrari they driving crashed into a house. The incident happened around 10 p.m. when a man and woman were driving fast down Waco Drive between 22nd St. and 23rd St.

The man was speeding, lost control of the car and spun out. The vehicle ran over a sign on the median at 21 St., and police say the vehicle appeared to have dragged the sign two blocks away from its original spot.

As the car continued going sideways, the front driver's side of the car hit a tree and spun the car again. The car then briefly struck the corner of a house at 2212 Waco Drive, where three kids were sleeping in the bedroom where the car briefly crashed into.

The car kept spinning and then hit the side of the neighboring house at 2216 Waco Drive.
The male was unresponsive at the scene, and both occupants of the vehicle were taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
