Authorities seize weapons and drugs at residential home

MCGREGOR -

McGregor police seized many weapons after they raided a house on 535 Winchester Drive west of Bruceville-Eddy.

Inside the home police found 73 marijuana plants that were being grown for distribution. They also seized multiple weapons and between 500 to 600 rounds of large ammunition packages.

Police said the items appeared to be ready to be shipped to Mexico.

Police then arrested Juan Antonio Trevino, who is now currently facing possession of marijuana charges.
