Two four-wheelers stolen, suspects arrested

Posted:
MILAM COUNTY -

Two men who stole two four-wheelers in Milam County on Monday have been arrested. John Ethan Furnace and Reid Faulkner have been charged with Felony Theft of Property, and both are residing in Milam County Jail.

The two stolen four-wheelers were reported by David Gann who told investigators that the theft probably occurred sometime on Sunday in the 1200 block of Milam County Road 234.

Investigators were informed by a family member of the victim that they believed they were following a truck and trailer hauling the two stolen four-wheelers south on U.S. Highway 36 in Burleson County.

Burleson County Deputy Charles Barnes stopped the suspected vehicle, and detained the suspects until Milam County Investigator Lt. Beathard arrived on the scene to confirm that the four-wheelers were stolen.

He then obtained confessions from both Furnace and Faulkner. Both men had their bonds set at 5,000 dollars each.
