CORYELL COUNTY -
An 83-year-old Copperas Cove woman is dead after her vehicle drove off the road and overturned Tuesday afternoon near Gatesville.
Department of Public Safety says Dorothy Vinghouse Moore was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup truck northbound on FM 116 around 1:30 p.m. She then drove the truck off the road, it overturned and struck a tree.
Moore was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
