Waco ISD Police are investigating a series of car burglaries that occurred on different campuses on Thursday.
A school official says two burglaries happened earlier Thursday afternoon at Lake Air Montessori Magnet School. The suspects stole valuable items from multiple cars. The burglaries also happened at three other campuses in the district.
Waco ISD's Chief of Police Ken Boatman urges residents to not leave anything of value in your car.
"Generally it does happen every year," Boatman said. "Safeguard themselves and their valuables."
Officer Boatman says they believe a man and woman are behind the robberies, and they may be driving a black or possibly dark blue four-door ford pick-up.
