TEMPLE -
A Temple man has been arrested following an investigation in which he was accused of sexually assaulting a minor. Temple Police received a report of a sexual assault on November 23.
The follow up investigation revealed that 51-year-old George Vasquez had allegedly had sexual intercourse with the victim. Vasquez knew the victim, and had sexual relations with her when she was under 16 years of age.
The case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday, and a warrant was issued by Justice of the Peace T. Duffield.
