KILLEEN -
A Killeen elementary student was hospitalized after he was hit by a car when he was walking across the street.
A 6-year-old boy needed to be rushed to Metroplex Hospital in Killeen after he was hit by a car. The boy was walking from Bellaire Elementary School when he was stuck by the vehicle along Jasper and Daisy drive.
Police say the driver was not speeding, but somehow got distracted. No one was cited in the accident, and the boy is expected to be ok.
