MARLIN -
Marlin's chief of police is recovering after being involved in a near-fatal rollover accident on November 16.
Police Chief Darrell Allen was released from Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center on Tuesday.
Two weeks ago Allen was critically injured after losing control of his 2004 Ford Explorer on Highway 6 north of Marlin on at 2:30 a.m. He appeared to have lost control of his vehicle and the SUV rolled over several times.
Investigators say Allen was not wearing a seat belt, and he was thrown from his vehicle.
