For several months, the Rivers of Mercy Children's Home has been in conversation with multiple playground companies trying to determine which would offer them the best-quality playground equipment for their children for the best deal. "We chose American Parks Company because of their excellent customer service, the structures that they offer, the warranty, and the value of the purchase. After input from our staff here at Rivers of Mercy and others, we selected the play structure called Augusta. Augusta is packed with play options--seven slides of differing heights, four climbers, four play panels, and a set of talk tubes! Just like we had wanted, Augusta has a lower area with smaller slides for the younger children and a higher area with taller slides for the older children. We are really happy with our choice."

"Although the structure is the major part of the playground, there are still other necessary elements in order to complete this project in its entirety! In order to make a safe and functional playground, we need to have safe ground cover, a shade structure, and fencing, along with some initial ground work and concrete during the installation. Because of the extreme heat here in Juarez, we are hoping to cover the playground with a large dome as soon as possible. So, we still need help reaching our $25,000 goal to cover all project related expenses. We are really excited about some upcoming fundraisers and would encourage you to consider ways you could participate in helping us reach our fundraising goal in order to cover all expenses related to this endeavor.
