CORYELL COUNTY -
A 35-year-old Coryell County woman has been arrested on charges of Tampering with a Witness. Tamra Lynn Stepp is accused of feeding information to a suspect about the statements of the victim.
Stepp is involved in an investigation of an Indecency with a Child complaint. Sheriff's Office investigators say that after the victim made an outcry regarding the incident Stepp had contacted the witness.
She fed information to the witness to help him "get his story straight." Deputies are continuing their investigation of the indecency claim and hope to have an arrest soon.
