HARKER HEIGHTS -
A Harker Heights man is in jail after neighbors and victims provided police with photographic evidence of a burglary that took place October 15.
The suspect, Trason James Taylor, took jewelry and electronics from a home in the 2500 block of Jackson Drive. Neighbors saw Taylor at the house, and thought his appearance at the home was suspicious.
The neighbors took pictures of the Taylor's vehicle including his license plate. The owners of the property had photographs and serial numbers for all the items taken, which gave the police a great deal of information in their investigation.
Police traced the vehicle, obtained an arrest warrant for Taylor and arrested him Thursday. Taylor is now booked into the Bell County Jail. Police say alert and observant neighbors were key to solving the crime.
