LOMETA -
Police have released the details surrounding a former Central Texas football coach who was accused of some inappropriate behavior with students. Wendell Bradley was arrested in August for sending sexually explicit text messages to several students who attend Lometa High School.
Three students were questioned by investigators. One student said the 51-year-old sent them text messages back in June where he asked the student about sex toys and pornographic websites.
Another student also exchanged sexually explicit text messages where Bradley allegedly asked about the types of sexual partners the student preferred. The third student claimed that Bradley wanted her to send him pictures of her in a bikini and naked.
The Bradley was the Lometa High School's head football and girls basketball coach. Police have yet to acknowledge whether the victims were players on the team.
Bradley resigned his position at Lometa on September 16 after a meeting with the school board.
In late October a Lampasas County grand jury indicted Bradley on three counts of online solicitation of a minor.
