An Elm Mott man is facing child injury charges after a fight got out of control on Monday.
Deputies responded to a home in the 400 block of Old Leroy Rd, and arrested Daniel Abney for hitting a 14-year-old boy across the face, neck and body with a belt. Abney is also accused of hitting a woman who was also in the home.
He was taken to the McLennan County Jail and charged with Assault and Injury to a Child.
