WACO -

One man injured from a gunshot wound early Sunday morning after a fight escalated outside a local bar. The incident occurred before 12:45 a.m. outside Treff's Bar and Grill on 520 Austin Ave.

A large group of Hispanic individuals were fighting inside the bar, and as officers were responding, the fight began to move outside into the parking lot area. One gunshot was fired outside of the club at a group of people that were in the 500 block of Austin Ave.

One of the individuals, 23-year-old Pedro Rodriguez, was shot in the abdomen. Police believe several other individuals drove Rodriguez to Hillcrest Hospital, dropped him off, and left.

Rodriguez's condition is unknown at this time and there is no information on suspects.
