Police identify man shot to death in house

UPDATE: The Temple Police Department has arrested a juvenile male in connection with the murder that happened Friday night.

His name isn't being released because he is a juvenile. After his arrest he was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center in Killeen.

Temple Police have released the name of the man shot to death on Friday night.

Police found Michael Lamar Green, 34, with multiple gunshot wounds in the front room of a house in the 400 block of S. 32nd St, around 9:20 p.m. Temple Fire and Rescue personnel were already performing CPR on Green, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Green's friends went to the house and found him shot.

An autopsy will be performed on Green's body.

Police have called the incident a homicide, and they are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect. The Temple Police Department asks anyone with information to call them at (254) 298-5500.
