MARLIN -
Officials in Marlin have confirmed that due to an unfortunate chemical spill, the city has now been forced to use a reserved water supply for residents.
There are trucks carrying extra water coming to Marlin and the city of Lott has agreed to help supply Marlin residents with water while this crisis is being solved. Officials do not have an estimated time that the water will be fixed, but they do expect more water to come into the city by Wednesday afternoon.
Residents of Marlin are being told to boil water before consumption, conserve the amount of water they use on a daily basis and to expect water pressure to be low.
