City Council to vote on new riverboat

Posted:
WACO -

The Brazos River in Waco may be getting a new riverboat for the first time in four years. The new boat will be called the Brazos Queen II, and it will be docked near the 400 block of University Parks drive.

The home of the new riverboat will be near the site of the previous riverboat, the Brazos Belle.

Tuesday the city council will vote on a resolution to lease the property for the new riverboat and floating dock on Lake Brazos. The boat would operate in the spring, summer and fall and construction would start immediately if it is approved..
