A man is arrested after he barricades himself inside a home in Temple, and refuses to leave. Police were called to a home at 1000 S. 22nd street after they received a disturbance call early Saturday morning.
When police arrived on the scene around 3 a.m. they found a woman sitting in a car outside. She told police Willie Brazell had tried to sexually assault her inside their home.
The 50-year-old Brazell told her that he was going to get a gun when she wouldn't cooperate. The victim left the house with their three kids still inside the home.
A SWAT team was called to the scene for reinforcement, and after a four and a half hour standoff Brazell was arrested. Police found all three kids unharmed, and safe in the back bedroom.
