Man Arrested In Connection To Home Invasions

By: Danielle Skinner
FALLS COUNTY - A Mexia man was arrested Friday afternoon for two home invasions that happened in Marlin.

Marlin police say 32-year-old Daymond Stewart broke into the homes of two women and beat them. He then allegedly demanded sexual favors from them, and took jewelry, wallets, and other valuables with him.

According to police Stewart left behind DNA at both homes. On Friday police questioned Stewart about the allegations. He denied them and voluntarily gave investigators a DNA sample that made him a match.

Stewart has quite a rap sheet and has indecent exposure, burglary, and auto theft chargers.

He is in Falls County Jail with a $700,000 bond.
