KILLEEN -
A Killeen man is in serious condition after he was stabbed by his step-father Thursday afternoon. The 22-year-old was then airlifted to Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Officers were called to an apartment complex at 1500 Windward Dr. just after 4 p.m., but when police arrived on the scene the suspect had already left.
Police say the victim and his stepfather were verbally arguing when the fight turned physical. The stepfather then stabbed the younger man while they were in the parking lot.
Authorities say they have identified the suspect and are now searching for him.
