KILLEEN -
A Killeen couple is in Bell County Jail for abandoning their one-year-old child to go to a Wal-Mart on Monday night.
Killeen police were notified by a Child Protective Services worker that the child had been left alone in an apartment at 1201 Bacon Ranch Rd. When police arrived on the scene they found the child alone in the apartment.
When the parents of the child returned to the apartment, they were confronted by the police and were arrested. Amanda Nichole Brock and Levy Brock have been charged with Abandoning and Endangering a Child with Criminal Negligence.
