WACO -
Waco police are searching for a suspect who robbed a man near the Baylor University campus. The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday night in an alley behind the University Terrace Apartments at 1700 S. 8th St.
Police say a 26-year-old man was talking to a woman until she decided to get something from her apartment and left the man.
When the woman left a black male in his early 20s approached the man with a handgun. The suspect took the victims iPhone, car keys, and wallet with cash then struck the victim in the head with the gun.
One shot was fired, but did not hit the victim. The suspect then took off on foot, and was last seen wearing a blue and white letterman jacket.
