WACO - A local man is arrested for threatening another man with a knife and stealing $3 from him.
The incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. Thursday night at a residence at 2300 Dutton Ave. The 49-year-old victim was visiting with friends at that location. While at the residence the suspect, Angel Chan-Gomez, approached him and claimed that the victim owed him money and demanded they he would be paid.
The victim told the suspect that he had none, and Gomez then pulled out a knife and held it to the victims throat. The Gomez stole $3 in cash and a cell phone before fleeing to a residence at 2100 Clay Ave. where police found him and took him into custody.
