WACO - Waco Police have arrested a local man who is accused of sexually abusing a boy nearly ten years ago. 45-year-old Edito Lomallo Salinas was arrested Thursday night after police received a phone call about the incident.
Waco Police received a call from Child Protective Services in California about a delay outcry from a teenager. The young man told CPS that Salinas sexually abused him during a trip to Waco back in 2003.
The teenager was just five or six years old during the time of his visit. According to police Salinas was identified as an acquaintance to the victim.
After police finished their investigation, Waco police obtained a warrant for Salinas' arrest and detained him.
