Cameron Police Searching For Car Damaging Suspects

By John Elizondo

CAMERON - Cameron Police are searching for unknown suspects who have damaged several cars outside of residences. About a dozen or more vehicles have sustained damages from the acts of criminal mischief.

The estimated damage to the vehicles ranges into the thousands of dollars. Damages to the vehicles include windshields being knocked out and paint and body damages. Authorities believe that the damages aren't exclusive to cars after the front plate glass door to the City Water Department was broken by the same object that damaged the cars.

Police believe the suspects used rocks from a nearby railroad and hurled them at vehicles that were parked outside on drive ways or along the street.

There are no suspects in this case, but Cameron Police are investigating the matter. If anyone has information regarding these incidents or the suspects in this case, please contact the Cameron Police Department or the Milam County Crimestoppers at 1-888-697-TIPS.
