Bicyclists Involved In Hit And Run

By John Elizondo

WACO - The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking for the person responsible for a possible hit and run Wednesday morning  just outside of Waco.

Authorities said six cyclists were run off the road by a black vehicle with a female driver around 7:40 a.m. near Flat Rock Rd. and Rock Creek Rd. One of the cyclists said the driver appeared to be preoccupied on the phone while she was driving.

An ambulance sent to the scene to treat the cyclists' bruises, abrasions, cuts, and road rash. DPS troopers were given a possible license plate number and will be attempting to find the vehicle.
