Domestic Disturbance Leads To Temple Man's Arrest For Burglary

TEMPLE - A Temple man is arrested for burglary and possession of marijuana on Sunday at 800 N. 10th St. Henry Laabs was reported to authorities when they received calls for a violent domestic disturbance in the area.

The victim fled to a neighbor's home and locked the door, but Laabs followed her and forced entry into the home, then physically assaulted the victim. He then left the scene before officers arrived.

A warrant for Laabs arrest was obtained by authorities, and Laabs was confronted by authorities Sunday when he arrived at a residence at 800 S. 3rd St, but fled by foot. He was found hiding in tall grass, and was taken into custody without incident.

Officers found marijuana in Laabs' pocket following his arrest, and Labbs is currently be charged with Burglary of a Habitation with Intent other felony and Possession of Marijuana. His bond has been set at $250,000.
