RIESEL- A family is out of their home after a fire tore through their house in Riesel on Sunday night.
A woman was inside the house in the 9300 block of E. Highway 6 shortly before 8:00, when the blaze broke out. She was able to escape safely and no one else was hurt.
Four local fire departments with 10 engines doused the flames but the house was destroyed.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
The American Red Cross is helping the family with shelter and supplies.
